1. Internal vs. External Dimensions
Always provide Internal Dimensions for manufacturing.
- Internal Dimensions: The usable space inside.
- External Dimensions: Used by couriers to calculate hacimsel (volumetric) weight.
2. The Standard Measurement Order
Packaging measurements are always recorded in this order:
- Length (L): The longer side of the opening.
- Width (W): The shorter side of the opening.
- Height (H): The depth from the opening to the base.
3. Precise Calculation
Measure in millimetres (mm). For the total surface area of a standard box, the formula for this is:
